Dammit Janet: The Breast Super Bowl Halftime Show

Blogcritics.org has a special page setup for everything Janet Jackson, Half Time, and the Super Bowl (XXXVIII). They have seen an insurgence in traffic over this one issue that is amazing - 250,000 unique visitors in one day. Who will ever regard the half time show the same way again? Maybe they should not pick artists that are about to release an album? Who knows. The only thing that is for sure is this: CBS in a matter of seconds has changed everything, and sent ripples through the media like nothing else before. We watched the Super Bowl - who didn't - and were paying a fair amount of attention to the halftime show, but never even had a hint that anything "peculiar" had happened until I ran downstairs and did a quick check of Blogcritics. We were getting 5,000 visitors an hour. This was noteworthy. The Janet Boob Bomb had hit. The fallout continues. WARNING: Several of the stories below include images of near-nudity, or link to images of near-nudity, including animations and close-ups. Proceed at your own risk.
