'Miracle' of a Movie

'Miracle' was a great movie, and so far the best of this new year. Kurt Russel did a great job capturing Herb Brooks. I am not a huge hockey fan, I will admit, but the 1980 USA team transcends the sport all together. Just go see this movie! BTW, did you know: Michigan natives and former BGSU students Ken Morrow and Mark Wells were members of the 1980 U.S. Olympic team whose improbable run to the gold medal is recaptured in the newly released Disney movie "Miracle." Before being chosen to help take their nation to victory, Wells and Morrow led BGSU to three Central Collegiate Hockey Association titles and three straight NCAA tournament appearances in the late 1970s. Right now our hockey team is not going that well, but they used to be tops in the nation. Just tonight their was a banquet (at $75 a plate, too pricey for me) celebrating the 10 yr. anniversary of BGSU's 1984 National Championship.
