GTA: San Andreas Soundtrack

Rockstar has announced that they will be releasing a double-CD soundtrack as well as an eight CD box set for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Both of these are set to hit the streets on November 23, almost a month after the release of the game. The double-CD will have 23 songs from San Andreas and a full song list has been released, but there are no details about the full box set.

You can get an idea of what will be on the 8 disc box set from the in game soundtrack. I assume like with Vice City the box set will not have every song that is heard in game, but most of them. Continue reading to see the list that the radio stations in the game play. Thanks to Maury for pointing me to the list.

Man, this is incredible. I STILL have no interest in this title. Gee, wonder why? Oh yeah, I hate GTA. That's it.

So has anybody actually played this yet? We're going to hit the store and check this out later.

I bought it yesterday at an EB close to the office last night, they were selling pre-orders and the cute chick at the counter could not resist my powers; so she sold my friend and myself a copy.

I played for a couple hours last night, the gameplay is pretty crazy, with tons of new things to worry about and do.

I have played Vice City and GTA3, and they kept my interest until about 5 hours in or so (or the second 'chapters'), but i can really see San Andreas really hooking my interest and keeping me playing.

Some parts of it make you question yourself ("why in the hell am i so focused on having the digital avatar work out, increasing his sex appeal and appearance when i could be spending that mental effort on myself; who is REAL?"), but all in all its a fun game.

The pixel shader screen blur for when you go super fast is cool, but it is kind of lame - in the sense that it obscures the view of the world.

most likely not for everyone, but its fun so far. Plus, any game with Dr. Dre/Snoop, Ice Cube, and Guns 'n Roses is cool in my book :)
