Locking the keys in the car

Again, today, I locked my keys in my car. I must admit that it has been a while, I am so proud. But I am glad I put an extra ignition key in my wallet.

Years ago I locked my keys in my car. Thankfully I knew someone who worked at AAA, and did not have to fork over the cash to get the car unlocked.

Ever since I put a key in my wallet. I cannot tell you how many times that has saved me.

So that is my advice to you. Even though it sounds like common sense, no one does it. Put an extra car key in your wallet. I would say put one in your purse too, but your milage may very as it is not on your person all the time.

This saves headaches and cash at the same time!

Another trick that works (most of the time) - Duct tape a key, or a box holding a key somewhere under the car where you (or a some helpful person) can untape it when you're in a fix. The only problem is if the duct tape doesn't hold or the key falls out, but I've seen it done before.
