E3 2005: Power outage slows down trade show

Maybe some gamers needed more time to digest everything thrown at them with the pre-show conferences, but attendees to E3 will have to wait to divulge information. Early this morning, power was unavailable to the media room. The show floor itself was running and a back-up generator is being delivered to restore power elsewhere.

Maybe it's just me, but shouldn't they be prepared for something like this? Obviously this is the type of event that cannot happen without electricity. Who does the planning for this? Yahoo has the full story.
