If you ever felt like you were sick of seeing the Boy Scouts of America being used for a punching bag by the American Civil LIberties Union and other activists, take heart.Source: WorldNetDailyReinforcements are here.
You can count me in to the crowd that is "sick of seeing the Boy Scouts of America being used for a punching bag." I just ordered the book Get Off My Honor: The Assault on the Boy Scouts of America. I will let you know what I think when I am done with it.

As a former Boy Scout and Boy Scout Leader, let me say: Meh. Being a Boy Scout doesn't exempt you from being critizised for stupid actions.
You don't want people to attack you for your stupid actions? Start by not being stupid. And discriminating against homosexuals in this day and age is just stupid.
Do whatever you want, but don't complain if people take you to task for it.

I was an Assistant Boy Scout Leader for a short while myself. I don't think the BSA should be exempt for their actions, but I think the ACLU and other parties need to find something else to complain about.
I think the BSA needs to update its practices for the 21st century, namely allowing gays and women.
It is sad how much the BSA is an "old boy's club" in many ways.
