Fenway turf needs repair after Rolling Stones shows

BOSTON (AP) -- The Rolling Stones left the Boston Red Sox in need of some serious grass.

I just have to laugh at these type of stories. No kidding they are going to kill the grass! I remember a Jimmy Buffet show at Jacobs Field that left the outfield dead.

I don't know if it is the stage, the beer, or the people, but I am sure its the combination of the three that kills the grass.

In more modern Stadiums, they can remove the grass from the stadium if they have non-sports events. Pretty cool. They just roll the whole thing out, where it can grow all by itself, in the sun, while people jump around inside.
