I'm not entirely sure if my first game experience was on the NES with Contra or on our Apple II, but this is a great way to figure that mystery out. Some great games here.

What a great bookmark Matt! My dad had a Apple II GS, and I remember so many of these games. Favorite? Arkinoid and Arkinoid 2 for sure.
It is worth noting that this is all done in ActiveX, so it will not work on a Mac (which has a bit of irony too it, no?). It would have been better emulated in Java, but oh well. I can play them on my laptop.

I couldn't get it working in Firefox at all. No errors or anything. It simply wouldn't run. It's fine in IE though, and I can finally play Super Bunny again!
