The search for the body continues, but the location of Jimmy Hoffa's marriage license is no secret any longer - it's in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The teamster president's 1937 application and license were unearthed in the Wood County Court House recently, the Sentinel Tribune (my own paper) and Toledo Blade reported Thursday. He and his fiancee, Josephine Poszywak, were living in Detroit at the time, but came to BG since in those days, apparently, it was a place for Las Vegas-style quickie weddings.
No word yet on how bored the couple were upon visiting the town.
