Accessory Review: DecalGirl Nintendo DS Skins

There is no denying the fact that the Nintendo DS has some of the best games on the market today. I just wish it were a bit more aesthetically pleasing. To see my point on this, take a look at the soon to be released DS Lite.

One way to make your DS look better, and stand out from the crowd, is by putting skins, or adhesive stickers on it. One such site that offers a plethora of options is DecalGirl.

Not only do they offer zillions of designs for the Nintendo DS, but also for the DS Lite, GBA, GameCube, PSP, PS2, iPod... you get the idea. I haven't found another site that offers so many designs.

Out of all that I had to chose from, the "Accident" skin is my favorite. Not only does it look cool, but it is downright hilarious juxtaposed next to playing Super Princess Peach.

The DS (and DS Lite) skins cost $9.99 -- no more or less than any other vendor. Application was easier than expected. Especially around the top screen and speakers.

I looked at my friend's DS the other day, and it looks so bland, so blah. I couldn't imagine not having this skin on my DS. Recommended.
