I don't like hockey games, I never have. But I do like to see what realism developers can bring to any game based on life.
I thought the ice in NHL 2K6 looked good. 2K Sports outdid themselves yet again, the ice in NHL 2K7 is even better.

Dunno. I think Ice Hockey on the NES was the perfect hockey game. With the fat guy and the skinny guy getting in a fight and everyone joining in...
I also like the "over the top" hockey games like the one from Midway. It's just a great party game.
