2006 was a great year for gaming. We will soon have our GOTY Nominees and GOTY 2006 posts up at BC Gaming.
Did the Wii win the console war? I don't know, but I am pretty sure it won the 2006 holiday season. The Wii had a much stronger launch than the GameCube - which really had a pathetic showing for Day One.
The Wii had better software at launch than the PS3, by a land slide. The Wii also had a better launch than the Xbox 360, with almost double the exclusive games.
