Blaze guts South Toledo apartment buildings

I forgot to mention this the other day, but a bunch of really smart people decided it would be a good idea to light fireworks off. One landed on the roof of a central building, and left nine buildings destroyed and three damages, not to mention about 200 displaced residents.

Thankfully no one was injured. Today it was confirmed that fireworks was the cause of the blaze. Structural damage was estimated at $5 million.

I hear they were shooting the fireworks off from inside their apartment. But I have not been able to find a news article to back that up

It is no surprise that Toledo police are calling to ban sale of fireworks after apartment blaze. What a loss for some careless partying.
